Palmetto State Park

One of our favorite state parks is Palmetto. Palmetto State Park, named for the tropical dwarf palmetto plant found there It is located southeast Luling, TX. We have been there a few times and here are some of the pictures from our visits.

Gotta watch for snakes here

Ohhh. ..that feels so good

Spanish Moss

This is a wheel that is embedded in the tree. I don't know how long this wheel has been there, but from the size of the tree it has been there for quite some time.
